To answer your question: The Handy Safe Desktop Professional database file is typically stored on your old computer's hard drive. When you connect the old hard drive to your new PC via a USB cable, you should be able to locate the database file in the default installation directory of Handy Safe, which is usually in the "Documents" or "Program Files" folder under a subdirectory named "Handy Safe" or "Epocware" (the developer). If you customized the location during installation, it may be in another folder. Look for files with .db or .hsk extensions. Once located, you can copy these files to the corresponding directory in your new PC's Handy Safe installation to recover your data.
If you have forgotten your login and password for Handy Safe Desktop Professional, you can try resetting them using the "Forgot Password" or "Forgot Login" option on the login screen. If that does not work, you may need to contact the support team for further assistance.
Hi, I am using Desktop version 3.01 and haven't had a problem importing my database from the phone using Android 10 and Windows 10. The search works. A hint; after installing the desktop client, locate it's database on your PC. Rename all the files you find there (3x) to "old safe.x". Close the client and re-start it. One of the options offered is to import your database from your phone. After importing it, you will be able to use the same password on your phone to open the client and synch with the phone.
I have Handy Safe Pro 3.01 292 installed on laptop with windows 10 , I have phone Moto X4 with P9 OS and latest Handy Safe app on it. Phone When connected with laptop I am able to browse files of phone internal storage. However not able to sync the data between laptop and phone.
